Upon attending Bedford Free Methodist Preschool, your child will learn what it means to be a student, a friend, and a follower of Jesus.

ENROLLMENT

Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year will open after the new year. Start checking back around February 2026. While it’s subject to change each year, registration typically entails:

  • Completing a simple Google form and submitting a $50 registration fee (non-refundable).

  • Understanding registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

OUR CLASSES

Junior Pre-K Class

The Junior Pre-K class is designed for first-time students. This class meets 2 days a week. In accordance with NLCS guidelines concerning birthdates for kindergarten admission, students must be at least 3 years old by August 1 to be eligible for this class. Junior Pre-K classes have a maximum of 14 students per class, allowing for more one-on-one interactions between teachers and students. We offer two time options for Junior Pre-K: Tues & Thurs, 8:30-11:00 am OR Tues & Thurs, 12:00-2:30 pm. Beginning in the ‘24-25 school year, tuition is $100 per month. See the ‘Tuition and Fees’ section on page 6 of the handbook for more information about tuition discounts and scholarships.

Pre-K Class

The Pre-K class is designed for students moving on to kindergarten the following year. This class meets 3 days a week. In accordance with NLCS guidelines concerning birthdates for kindergarten admission, students must be at least 4 years old by August 1 to be eligible for this class. The Pre-K class maxes out at 18 students. Because the Pre-K class is focused on preparing students for kindergarten, Pre-K students are expected to do more independent work as the school year progresses. We offer two time options for Pre-K classes: MWF, 8:30-11:00 am OR MWF, 12:00-2:30 pm. Beginning in the ‘24-’25 school year, tuition is $125 per month.   • We offer two levels of classes:

    • Junior Pre-K is for children who are 3 years old by August 1 and are able to use the restroom independently.

    • Pre-K is for children who are 4 years old by August 1 and are able to use the restroom independently.

    • Junior Pre-K: Maximum of 14 students with a lead teacher and an assistant.

    • Pre-K: Maximum of 18 students with a lead teacher and an assistant.

  • Yes, we try to closely follow the North Lawrence Community School Corporation for major school breaks, including holidays and vacations. Specific dates will be provided in the school calendar at the beginning of the year.

  • Registration can be completed online at our website. A $50 non-refundable registration fee is required to secure your child's spot.

  • Yes, children must:

    • Meet the age requirement by August 1 of the school year.

    • Be fully potty trained and able to use the restroom independently.

  • Each student will need:

    • A water bottle

    • A backpack large enough to fit a folder (folder is provided by the school)

  • No, we currently offer half-day sessions only and do not provide extended care.

  • We do not offer make-up days for absences. Tuition remains the same regardless of attendance.

  • The $50 registration fee is non-refundable. Monthly tuition is non-refundable except in special circumstances determined by the preschool administration.
